Jenna (she/her) is a freelance editor with over 15 years of experience in the publishing industry. She’s worked on titles across a range of genres – lifestyle books, educational titles, science publications and academic works, to name a few – but has a particular passion for children’s publishing, especially picture books, early chapter books and middle grade. Her most recent in-house role was at Penguin Random House Children’s where she worked on their non-fiction and fiction publishing as an editor.

She is a Professional Member of the CIEP (Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading) and offers a range of services, including development editing, line editing, copyediting, proofreading, fact-checking and editorial project management.

When she’s not poring over manuscripts, Jenna spends her time chasing after her two young children, going for long walks in the forest with the dog, and reading, reading and yet more reading.

Please see her CIEP profile for recent project examples and testimonials.
